iRobot suggests cleaning up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it may encounter. It is also recommended to keep the filters and dust bin clean to prevent them from becoming clogged. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's dust bin. In our testing the i7+ performed quicker and more maneuverable than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surface kinds including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its best self cleaning vacuum-emptying bin that eliminates major sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. We were able, once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom."
