Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can handle different floors. Find models that allow you to select between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty and clean the stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an app that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.

Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots that vacuum and mop the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an effective solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot autonomous vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a number advanced features like voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.

This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum robotic cleaner and mop. It has a powerful suction which can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary within the application). The mopping feature is pretty impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a wide space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.

The app is streamlined and intuitive interface that will be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You'll require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris but they're not able to get every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum regularly, once a week. This is especially important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing mopping and using a lower-cost plastic body.

Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto vacuum and mop-empty system which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into places that other vacuums are unable to reach. This device also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the expenses associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
