However unlike the i7+ or other top rated robot vacuum-rated robots that we tested the i3+ does not have a feature for avoiding obstacles which means it can get stuck on things such as power cords or socks, and it can have difficulty in navigating through transitions between surfaces like from hardwood to carpet.

iRobot recommends clearing areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, including putting away any clutter or toys it may encounter. Also, keep the dustbin and filters clear to avoid getting blocked. When the i3+'s internal bin is filled or the battery is empty it will return to its docking station and automatically empties its trash into the station's external dustbin and continues cleaning the area where it started. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and takes around three hours to recharge.

2. Roomba by iRobot

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot and is equipped with the most recent features. It is self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most important feature is the self-emptying bin. This will eliminate the need for regular maintenance.

The Roomba I7+ can map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or via the app.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy the dust bin is self-emptying, which eliminates a major cause of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. Once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." 3. Dyson Cyclone V10

The V10 is powered with a 7-cell energy-dense Lithium-ion battery that can provide energy that lasts for 60 minutes. This model has its own advantages however: it's light and more maneuverable than older Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeably superior for carpet floors with low pile.

4. iRobot Roomba 694"

One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums The 694 is an entry-level model that's a good choice for people who don't want to spend too much on a robot vacuum black friday. It's capable of sucking up most kinds of debris in our tests, and frequently goes over the same areas multiple times to ensure a thorough clean. Its flat front end helps it reach into corners and along the edges of walls and walls, which is a nice feature.

In our testing our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors and dealt with dog hair (on carpet) quite well, clearing up 86 percent of it.
