The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model you should go for. It's smaller than other models on this list making it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides one of my top navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery halfway through a clean.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single pass. The suction motor's 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop rotates at a high rate and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out a bit more than other robots that vacuum and mop, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can be used to clean up larger debris, like broken toys and fallen books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the auto vacuum and mop. It's simple to set up and performs well, but it's something you'll need to be aware of if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it a great choice for homeowners who want an efficient, flexible and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device has an impressive and powerful cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the house and detect furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean efficiently and effectively. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning, while also being relatively fast.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach many surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other hard to reach areas. The side brush can be stretched out to extend to the floor, close to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and can be dried to remove odors and prevent buildup.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni's main draw is its enormous dock that serves as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a cleaning sink, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start cleaning or recall the robot vacuum cleaner or use the dock's automatic vacuum and mop robot emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great feature for parents who are worried about children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it is entangled in an obstacle, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't work until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert on its application.

Another potential downside is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't too bad aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a huge contrast to the basic black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for the market that is dominated by boxy models.
